The Game Master's Notebook: The City of Ravenclaw: The Red Claws Mercenary Company

The Red Claws are a nototrious mercenary outfit based out of Ravenclaw. The Red Claws undertake all kinds of jobs for different members of the Eight. Mostly they provide security for high value cargo caravans and various properties throughout the city. They exclusively use monsterous races like gnolls and hobgoblins as their foot soldiers while members of Thraut's clan of dragonborn provide the officers and other leaders. The Red Claws have also been hired on occasion to deal with troublesome adventuring parties who visit the city from time to time.
